To ensure a seamless catering experience, we kindly request a guaranteed guest count no less than three business days before your event. This allows us to plan accordingly and provide the best service for your attendees. A minimum of 12 guests applies to all catered events. If no changes are communicated by the deadline, we'll use that guest count for ordering and staffing in your CaterTrax confirmation. Please note that reductions cannot be accepted after the deadline.
Published menu prices include our "Drop-Off" service, which means our team will deliver, set up, replenish supplies, and clean up after your event.
For events with over 40 guests, we may recommend additional staff to ensure a seamless experience. Additional staff is charged at $50 per hour.
Your Catering Manager will discuss these options with you to determine the best fit for your needs.
All catering orders are subject to 8.5% local sales tax. However, if the event is being paid for by an external guest with tax-exempt status, they must provide a copy of their state-issued tax exemption document at least two weeks before the event. Please note that in some locations, tax exemptions may be audited, requiring a traceable payment method like a credit card or check.
Buffets and perishable menu items will be available for a two-hour service period to ensure the freshest quality. Food items will be removed after this time, in accordance with safe food handling procedures.
We offer a 15-minute grace period for both event start and end time changes. Changes beyond 15 minutes may incur additional staffing charges of $50 per hour.
For a custom menu, we kindly request at least ten business days notice. To ensure the smoothest catering experience, please finalize your menu selections, including any special requests, a week before the event.
We prioritize a safe and responsible environment for all event attendees. To ensure proper food handling and responsible beverage service, any remaining food or beverages at the event's conclusion cannot be removed from the premises. Please note that only authorized Catering Team members can serve alcoholic beverages, and they may refuse service to guests who seem intoxicated or cannot provide valid ID proving they are of legal drinking age.
Event cancellations require written notification (via email) at least 48 hours before your event to avoid a cancellation fee. Orders canceled within 48 hours of the event will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Rental costs and any additional staffing charges will be billed at the full rate.
We'll do our best to accommodate last-minute orders with less than 48 hours' notice. However, for events within 48 hours, we recommend choosing from our chef's choice menu selections, as custom requests require 10 business days' advance notice. Please contact the Catering Team for last-minute inquiries.
A $100 overtime fee will be applied to events scheduled outside the standard operating hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We offer both self-service and tended bar options. For tended bars, we recommend one bartender for every 75 guests to ensure smooth and efficient service.
The bartender service fee is $60.00 per hour, per bartender.
All alcoholic beverages need to be purchased externally; we are able to assist in setting up the beverage station.
Bar Set Up Fees are as follows:
If there are external guests who wish to dine-in at the cafe, please advise the Catering team. There is a charge of $14 per person for breakfast and $16 per person for lunch.
Reservations in some cafes are available for groups of 20 or less, depending on availability.
Please note that reservations are accepted before noon or after 1:00 pm to avoid peak service times and ensure seating is available to all Googlers.
Please confirm your guest count with us before the event date to help our cafe team prepare appropriately.
To ensure a seamless catering experience, please confirm all room set-up details (tables, chairs, exhibits, bars, etc.) with the Events Team when you finalize your food and beverage order. Last-minute changes to room set-up, especially the day before the event, can lead to delays in service and food preparation.
We strongly encourage all clients and event planners to first engage with Catering at Google. If your team chooses to hire an external catering vendor, it is your responsibility to follow the External Catering Guidelines provided by the Food team.
